Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is one of many different types of anxiety disorders. It is a very difficult disorder that can result from a very difficult or frightening circumstance. Often, this includes the sensation of being emotionally detached, persistently reliving thoughts of the memories of the event, especially when the occurrence had to do with the loss of a very close loved one.

Post-traumatic stress is a disorder caused by experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event and can be successfully treated.

Post traumatic stress disorder can occur as a result of many different kinds of upsetting and horrifying events such as war, a serious accident, childhood abuse, violent attacks, being imprisoned or held captive, torture, or rape. The disorder can be caused by something experienced directly by the individual, or due to something that was witnessed but that did not happen to them, including a murder, a bombing, torture or violence, or a plane crash or car accident. It is a very common condition among law enforcement officials as well as war veterans due to the destruction, harm, death, and other upsetting events they must witness.

Though this is a terrible condition, the one positive thing is that it is very treatable and it can be overcome. For many people struggling with post traumatic stress disorder, it can be intrusive in all parts of their lives, from reliving memories during the daytime to dreams and nightmares during sleep. This can cause trouble sleeping, lead to sensations of being withdrawn from reality, and can cause the person to become jumpy and easily startled. They may lose interest in the things that used to bring them joy, and they become aggressive while being irritable and possibly even violent.

The worst struggle for people suffering from post traumatic stress disorder is reliving their memories in their various forms. Often people, places, and circumstances are avoided because they can bring memories closer to the front of the mind and this becomes a difficult and painful experience to undergo. It is easier to simply avoid them.

About six percent of the American population suffers from a form of post traumatic stress disorder. Among them, both children and adults are affected, though it is more common for women to experience it than men.

Treating post traumatic stress disorder begins with recognizing that this condition is present. From there, working with a doctor and mental health professional, a combination of mental therapies and anti-anxiety medications, both prescription and non-prescription such as Zanaprin, as well as sleep aids can be very useful for helping to recover, deal with the memories, and come to terms with what has happened so that the pain can be released.

When you’re looking for the benefits that Zoloft has to offer, but without the side effects and addictive nature of many of the prescription-strength SSRIs, then you may find – as many have – that Zanaprin is one of the best Zoloft alternatives. Zanaprin is a special kind of drug that combines all-natural herbs with pharmacological ingredients in order to create a formula that is highly effective in the treatment of panic disorders and many kinds of anxiety disorders, either chronic or short-term.

Zanaprin is the best non-prescription Zoloft alternative available for the treatment of panic and anxiety disorders.

Anxiety of any kind, when it rises beyond a certain level, can be absolutely debilitating. If you are suffering from high levels of anxiety, it is important for you to speak with your doctor and find out about your options for regaining control over the stress in your life. Though there are cases where prescription-strength options are the only ones that truly make sense, many people often find that they get all the help they need with an over-the-counter product that provides strong and reliable benefits such as Zanaprin.

Zanaprin can be used on its own to help you to get a leg up over your anxiety issues, or you can use it in conjunction with other therapies such as counseling, psychotherapy, breathing techniques, meditation, and many other ways that you can work on getting to the root of the stress in your life so that you can work to overcome it. After all, if you are carrying too much anxiety around with you, all you’re doing is holding back your ability to achieve happiness.

When taking Zanaprin, you can expect to safely and effectively reduce anxiety and stress, sleep better through the night, achieve improved relaxation with an enhanced mood, increase mental clarity and focus, and improve sociability, just as you’d see with Zoloft, but without the prescription and heavy side effects.

Zanaprin’s combination of herbal and pharmaceutical ingredients is unique in the marketplace. The natural ingredients allow you to obtain the benefits of chemical medications as well as herbal supplements all in the same formula. These natural herbs function to relieve the symptoms you are feeling as well as the actual cause of your anxiety (if that cause is physical or chemical).

As with every anti-anxiety medication, Zanaprin doesn’t work the same for everyone. Therefore, you should speak with your doctor and observe your reactions to the medication together to ensure that you’re taking the ideal dose for you, and that Zanaprin is indeed the right choice for your needs.

Panic anxiety disorder is not as common as some of the other types of anxiety disorders out there, but it can come with them or stand alone. Those with this condition find they are very limited in what they are willing to do with their lives. One of the biggest problems with panic anxiety disorder is the tendency to have panic attacks. These have both mental and physical symptoms that lead a person to believe they are about to die and may limit what they do and where they go each day. Someone with panic disorder may function well on some days but have other days where they feel as if everything is wrong.

Panic attacks that come with panic anxiety disorder are very severe. The person experiencing such an attack will be sure they are dying in that moment even though there is usually very little chance of physical harm from the attack. The person in question will feel as if they have chest pains or are having a heart attack, they may feel unreasonable terror and think they are about to die. They can develop tremors and numbness in the fingers, toes, arms and legs, and they can become dizzy with shortness of breath. The subject will have chills or hot flashes, will feel as if they are choking and may hyperventilate, having a racing heart beat, and may feel as if they are going to lose their mind.

There are a few things that lead to panic anxiety disorders. However, some can have these things in their lives without developing panic while others will get the disorder and need to be treated. It comes with other types of anxiety for some, doubling the problem. Women are twice as likely as men to get this condition, and there have been studies that point to genetics playing a role in this as well. Large amounts of stress that do not let up and traumatic situations can lead to someone developing panic disorder and attacks. Panic attacks generally happen to those in teenage and early adult years, but as with everything else, there are exceptions.

There are some common things that happen to those with panic disorder other than having panic attacks. Those with this condition may avoid any situation that they find stressful for fear of having a panic attack in front of others. They may end up relying on others for financial support and become addicted to substances like drugs and alcohol. They will avoid things they used to love to do, and may not wander more than a few miles from home. They are also prone to going to doctors or emergency rooms more often, and may attempt suicide.

If you or someone you know is experiencing any signs of panic anxiety disorder, know that treatment is out there and it can be very successful in returning someone to their normal life. There is no need to spend life worried and anxious when the levels of stress involved become unhealthy. There are prescriptions and life changes that can help, along with therapy and some natural remedies.

There are many types of anxiety disorders out there that affect millions of Americans each day. At times, worry is natural, but when it becomes overwhelming and affects how someone lives each day, it becomes a medical condition called anxiety. There are different types of anxiety disorders with different symptoms and problems, and each type may be treated differently. If you are suffering from any of these conditions, it is important to see a doctor, get treatment, and regain your life. Once you get relief, you will be surprised when looking back and you see how much anxiety was ruling your life.

Chronic or generalized anxiety disorder are somewhat similar in that they can be overwhelming and are usually dealt with on a daily basis. This disorder can severely limit life and can interfere with work and relationships. A person with chronic anxiety is anxious about just about anything and everything. They are prone to excessive worry about things that are real problems, but the severity is greatly exaggerated in their mind. They may also worry about things that are not really problems – but they seem very real to the person with this condition.

Social anxiety disorder is a bit different, but the body can react in the same way. Those with this condition have anxiety in relation to relating to others in social and work environments. In some cases, the social anxiety is so bad that the person with the condition becomes agoraphobic and will not leave the house. They fear that people are judging and making fun of them no matter where they go or what they are doing or that they are going to do something to make a fool of themselves. These thoughts are greatly exaggerated, but they can lead to panic and fear. Most choose to avoid people rather than deal with the symptoms that occur when they go out in public.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is an anxiety disorder you may associate with veterans who have returned from war, but it is also something that anyone who has gone through a traumatic event can develop. This happens when someone has gone through a severe physical or emotional trauma like a car accident, death of a child, or anything else that causes a person to develop severe anxiety. Those with this condition often have anxiety in relation to the event, and any small trigger that reminds them of what happened. This can be severely debilitating.

Panic disorder can stand alone but may also be a part of any of the conditions listed above. This disorder often leads to a person being prone to panic attacks when confronted with certain situations that cause anxiety. They may have these in public on occasion, and the fear of doing that again can lead to even more attacks. Though panic attacks are generally non-harmful, the physical sensations can lead a person to believe they are having a heart attack or other serious medical problem. The symptoms of a panic attack are scary. A person may believe they can not breathe, they can shake uncontrollably, and they feel sheer terror. They may also have numbness in the extremities, feel hot or cold, and have chest pain.

Xanax is a prescription medication that is often prescribed to those that suffer from the many different anxiety disorders out there. It falls under the medication classification of the benzodiazepines group. While used to treat general anxiety, social anxiety, occasional anxiety, and panic disorder, it is also used to help those that suffer from problems with short term memory, muscular tension that leads to pain, and those that have a hard time sleeping through the night. For some people, Xanax can be used in the treatment of some types of seizure disorder. This drug can be addictive and is something that can be harmful if abused.

Quite often, anxiety issues are both physical and mental. You may not know it, but your body comes with a sedative that it can produce on its own. This is known as GABA or gamma amino butyric acid. This is active in nearly 80 percent of your brain in the nerve connectors. This is what your body is supposed to release when you are feeling anxious to help calm you down and to think more clearly. You can think of GABA as something that stop the run away train of stress and anxiety in your brain. Without enough of this, the brain is not going to work as it should in regards to stress and obsessive thought.

In some most patients that suffer from anxiety and overwhelming stress, there is far too little GABA being released in the brain to stop the worry and thoughts that make anxiety a problem rather than something to help a person deal with problems effectively. Xanax works with what little GABA a person may be making on their own and intensifies what it can do. That should help the brain balance back out and the connections within the brain that deal with stress and anxiety work as they should. Patients should feel better relatively quickly when they start taking Xanax.

When a person wants to quit taking Xanax, it is important to do so under the supervision of a doctor. If this is something a person has been on for a long time, sudden withdrawal can be very painful and scary for the patient. This is because some brains react to Xanax by making even less GABA and if someone stops suddenly, they will feel horrible and anxiety will skyrocket. Instead, this is something that should be tapered off very slowly. When that is done, most patients on Xanax find that they do not have a hard time and can come off it successfully without feeling overwhelmed or overly anxious.
